It has been over ten years since the most important event of the recent history of the European Higher Education Area: The Bologna Declaration (1999). In recent years the European Union, as well as other international and national agencies, has made numerous proposals that have transformed the university model of the European area to meet new social demands.
These events have affected the deep and superficial university structures.
