Abstract

The didactic, the methodology, the learning, the curriculum... all these concepts that can seem to be so up to date, actually they are not so. In this paper we try to show another face of Roman Education beyond of repetition, tedium or hits. Through Quintilianus’ work we can see how, 2.000 years ago, there were teachers who, even though minority, were worried about teaching and learning. And even, there is something more important: there were teachers who respected and loved their pupils.
