Abstract

The article proposed next seeks to reflect on the democratization pro- cess in the end of the XXth century (the third wave) and to introduce a new perspecti- ve that revise this historical phenomenon starting from the particular understanding of every case across the investigation line opened by the history of the present time. The advantages derived of using the proposed viewpoint are of two kinds. From the theo- retical level the subject represents a period filled with elements and mysteries that constitute the contemporary history of an important generational mass and, therefore, their analyse is essential to understand their contemporary reality. As for the metho- dological slope we dispose, in addition to the interpretative guidelines coming from other sciences (politics, sociology...), oral testimonies of the, directly or indirectly, involved actors, and, of course, from the huge informative flow generated by those in different platforms: press, cinema, radio, television... The primary target is to aspire to understand the democratization from the point of view of her protagonists in very dif- ferent contexts to point out the keys of what could be the last big change that sets the material and ideological bases of the current world.
